Started really cataloguing The MM Sheet Music collection today.....I had found what songs I could find recorded, now I'm making lists. Hand-written lists. Lists of songs by title and grouping some by composers/lyricists!!! Cahn-Styne, Adamson-McHugh, Burke-Van Heusen, Johnny Mercer, female contributors (the unsung, unknown lady composers/lyricists of the Great American SongBook).
I can't thank Debbie L. for allowing me to have this stellar collection and the honor and challenge of finding and learning new-to-me "old" music. Every time I touch this music, I dedicate it to her mom and her amazing, varied, multi-faceted, decades-long career. I dedicate each song to the memory of my mom, dad, Aunt Nancy and Uncle Bill Atwell, who loved this music.....
